Okay. That’s a little odd. Don’t get me wrong – as promo art goes – those two San Diego Comic Con exclusive prints being given away at the Marvel booth are pretty impressive; but what do they REALLY have to do with the movies they are being used to promote.
It’s not as if we haven’t seen some kick ass artists paint Captain America and Thor before. As a matter of fact if you really think about it, that’s almost the ONLY way we’ve seen them for about 50 years now. The big deal now would be to see them in LIVE ACTION FORM; but instead we get two extremely well presented comic book prints. Ho hum.
Hey Marvel – it’s the biggest comic book show in the world – how about showing us something that we haven’t already seen Alex Ross do like a thousand times?
I’m probably just bitter because I’m in New York and have to wait until October for the “real” Comic Con.
