The end of Smallville is upon us and I have to make a confession. In the 10 years it’s been on the air, I’ve watched maybe 3 episodes. This is not to say that I didn’t WANT to watch more than that because the 3 I saw were fun; but when the show started I was busy building Geekpropaganda Headquarters with my butler under an abandoned Long Island Mansion and so by the time I had room in the old schedule for Tom Welling’s Boy of Steel, it was well into the 4th season and it seemed like I should catch up before jumping on board. All these years later and it’s still on my “to do” list. Don’t get the impression that I wasn’t serious about it – each year just after Thanksgiving when GIANT BIG BOX ELECTRONIC STORE THAT DOES NOT ADVERTISE HERE sells the seasons for ten bucks a piece, I make a point of picking them up because I have every intention of doing a marathon ten season review just as soon as it’s all over . . . which it will be on May 13th.
Guess I better warm up the ol’ DVD player.
